This site is dedicated to railroad articles written by me from my experience and knowledge of railroad operations while employed as a telegraph operator and train dispatcher. I was employed by the Illinois Central RR for nearly 25 years. Many of the articles here have been published in weekly and daily newspapers, and some in monthly senior publications.
